Inter-Development Basketball Program Big Success

 

The Fort Myers Housing Authority’s Inter-Development Basketball program is getting high marks from resident youths.  All four family developments are participating in the program.  Each development has its own co-ed team made up from resident teens.  The teams are as follows:

 

-         Michigan Panthers

-         Palmetto Vipers

-         Southward Village Lions

-         Sabal Palms Tigers

 

The teams compete against the Police Athletic League (PAL) team on Friday’s at Michigan Family Development at 6:30 p.m. and against each other on Saturday’s at 1:00 p.m.

 

On March 9, 2001 the Fort Myers Housing Authority will host the All-Star Game in which a team made up of development All-Stars will compete against the PAL team at Michigan Family Development at 6:30 p.m.  On March 10th the Fort Myers Housing Authority Championship Game will take place at Michigan Family Development at 10:00 a.m.
