Bruce Wormuth, Maintenance Supervisor

Mr. Bruce Wormuth has been promoted from Construction Manager to Maintenance Supervisor. Mr. Wormuth has over 30 years of experience in maintenance of multi-family complexes and 26 years of experience in maintenance supervisory positions. "I am very pleased about having the opportunity to make our maintenance operations more efficient and continue to provide checks and balances in the timely delivery of service to our residents," commented Mr. Wormuth.

Mr. Wormuth relocated to Fort Myers nine years ago from Albany New York. He has an associate’s degree in Engineering from New York State University and holds numerous certificates and has participated in many seminars on multi-family housing.

Daphne M. Wallace, Special Projects Coordinator

We want to welcome Daphne M. Wallace to the Fort Myers Housing Authority. Ms. Wallace will be working with Anita Walker in Resident Initiatives/Drug Elimination Office.  Ms. Wallace is married with two children; her husband is Bobby L. Wallace the minister of Music at Mount Hermon Baptist Church and the Chorus Teacher of the Mount Hermon Christian School.

Her son Tom Williams, III age 14 and daughter Zanqueania Tiaunee Williams, age 4 are students at Mount Hermon Christian School.  Ms. Wallace loves singing, liturgical dance and reading the Bible. "Although I haven’t had much time for sports, my favorites are racquetball, tennis and watching football at a live game, (not on television)," commented Ms. Wallace. Artimus Walker, Inventory Control/Purchasing Officer

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Artimus Walker to Inventory Control/Purchasing Officer for the Fort Myers Housing Authority. Mr. Walker has over 12 years of inventory and purchasing experience. Prior to his employment at the FMHA he was the Stock Control Specialist for the Lee County School District and also held a similar position for the Orange County School Board.

Mr. Walker in the recent months has organized the FMHA inventory and purchasing procedures that will result in significant cost savings. "The Fort Myers Housing Authority has over 1,100 units of public and section 8 housing. That is a lot of maintenance supplies. I am excited to utilize my skills in streamlining our purchasing power and the challenge of creating savings for our operations," commented Mr. Walker.

Mr. Walker relocated to Fort Myers from West Palm Beach ten years ago. He enjoys basketball, gospel singing and football.
