Well ... as you can tell from the other pages... I am a tall skinny guy (but a HUGE Auburn fan) with a wonderful family, who rarely smiles for pictures. You came here if you want to know more than that! Well here goes....

I am the oldest of three boys. I was born in Cookeville, TN in December of 1969 and we quickly moved to Georgia, back to Tennessee, to Virginia, to Alabama, to Florida, to Alabama, and now I am in Florida again! (whew!! Sounds like I was in the witness protection program!) I did most of my growing up in Jacksonville Florida ( age 12 - 15 ), and in Alabama where I graduated Highschool from White Plains in 1988 and went on to Auburn University planning to major in hotel and restaurant management. Half way through college I realized I knew more than what was being taught in that major and I ended up getting my Accounting degree in 1992.
At Auburn is where I met my wonderful wife (she made me type that)... and I wouldn't leave her alone! (Even after her thoughtful but sad attempt at cooking me dinner). We started dating early in 1990, spent most of that summer together with her family in Wash ington, and by Christmas of 1990 I proposed to her! (and of course she said yes) We were married August...um...17th of 1991.
I started working when I was 15 at The Victoria (a five star restaurant in Anniston AL) and after starting college I landed a job cooking at The Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center where I worked until after I got my degree. I was then accepted the offer of the Executive Chef position at Stillwaters Resort on Lake Martin where I worked my ___ off for peanuts for about a year before I threw in my apron! After a few odd jobs, I decided that a store was just what we needed...so we bought one just prior to the birth of our son. I ran the store until Michelle felt comfortable leaving C.J. with someone...and then she took over! (I wasn't working for myself anymore!) Next I decided to put my education to work. I was hired at Scott Accounting and Computer Services. (SACS) I had no plans to leave SACS and definitely had not thought about leaving the area...We owned a store and a house on Lake Martin ..and my family lived nearby. But when opportunity knocks... A new customer of SACS asked them for any recommendations and my name was thrown in his hat. They flew my wife and me to Florida for an interview, gave us time to look around and discuss the option, and before we flew back to Alabama "we" accepted the offer. That was in early November, and by January 4th 1999 we were relocated and I was working as the Director of Finance for Fort Myers Housing Authority. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
