Little Volterra stands in a splendid position on the top of a steep hill in the heart of Chianti's natural landscape. This little town includes the whole of Tuscan history: from the 7th century BC Etruscan invasions to the wonderful Priori Palace. The most ancient town hall left in Tuscany was built in 1210. It's a pleasure to go shopping in boutiques and artisan shops where expert artisans work alabaster. .
