Ravello has to be the best loved place by the Americans of the Campania region. Far away from the tourist traffic, resting on the top of cliffs that plunge into the sea, it's a location of tranquility and elegance. At the beginning of the 1800s, the Italian nobility chose Ravello as a holiday location, and built incredible villas on the top of the cliffs. In these villas, famous people such as Jacqueline Kennedy and Greta Garbo made regular visits.
