Caserta

Caserta

Located on the Campania plain, the village of Caserta is famous for the excellent Royal Palace and the surrounding parks with their incredable fountains. Charles of Bourbon ordered the construction of Royal Palace in 1751. In addition to the fountain of Diana and Actaeon (shown above) you will be awe-struck at the fouintains of Venus, Ceres, and The Dolphins which are located on the palace grounds.
